Reach us
- In the app: open You → Send feedback. It is the quickest way.
- By email: alikhlas.app@gmail.com
If you found a mistake in a Quran, hadith or dua text, please tell us where (the surah and ayah, the book and number, or the dua’s title). Every report about religious text is checked before anything is changed.
The azan came late, or not at all
Android can hold alarms back to save battery. Three things fix almost every case:
- Allow notifications for Al Ikhlas.
- Allow “Alarms & reminders” for Al Ikhlas (in your phone’s Settings → Apps → Al Ikhlas). When this is off, the app shows a card on Home that opens the right page for you.
- On Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and some other phones, let Al Ikhlas run in the background in the battery settings. The app can open that page for you too.
When “Alarms & reminders” is off, Android can hold the azan back by an hour or more. The app never plays an azan more than 10 minutes late, so a late azan is never mistaken for the start of the prayer. Up to 45 minutes late, it shows a quiet note instead, such as “Maghrib began at 6:07 pm”. Later than that, nothing.
The prayer times look wrong
Check that the city at the top of Home is yours. If your masjid’s times differ by a few minutes, use You → Adjustments to move each prayer by a few minutes to match. If the times still look wrong, send us your city and the times you expected.
